The Best Places To Catch The Game This Weekend Across Los Angeles

It’s a good time to be a sports fan right now with multiple leagues going on simultaneously. It’s an even better time to be a resident of Los Angeles who have the Dodgers making a bid at the World Series and the Lakers, Clippers, Dodgers and Galaxy all in action this month. If you can’t make it to a game or want to support your team while they’re on the road, be sure to catch them play at one of these bars in Los Angeles.

THE NICKEL MINE

The newly opened sports bar is what West Los Angeles has been lacking for years. While there are other adequate options in the area, The Nickel Mine goes gets it just right. Countless TVs, cool decor, bar games, and happy hour, what else could you want? One word of advice, get there early if you plan to watch a game. It gets packed quickly and parking can be a hassle.

JOXER DALY’S IRISH PUB

Sometimes you just want just want some fried pub food and a pint of beer at hole in the wall bar, that’s exactly what you get from Joxer Daly’s Irish Pub. Culver City residents rely on this pub for their selection of beer and a great game day atmosphere. Grab your friends and head to Joxer Daly’s the next time you’re trying to catch some football, either definition of the sport.

BLUDSO’S BAR & QUE

Los Angeles definitely has their choice of BBQ across the city, but it’s hard to find a place better than Bludso’s. In addition to great BBQ and sides, it’s an easy place to watch the game. TVs can be found all along the wall and there’s plenty of seating in the restaurant. There are a few other places in the area where you can go for a game, but this happens to be one of our favorites for several reasons.

BIERGARTEN

This Triple-D approved German-Korean fusion bar is just what a Sunday calls for. Cheer on your team with an impressive menu of apps, burgers, beer, whiskey or anything else your heart wants. Biergaten’s extensive menu of food and drinks has something for just about any type of diner looking to watch their team play.

33 TAPS SILVER LAKE

The newly opened 33 Taps will look to replicate the popularity of their Hollywood location in Silver Lake. We’d expect this location to be just as good as the other one with tons of televisions and ample bar food and drinks. While you won’t be pressed to find a good place in the area to catch a game, 33 Taps is a no brainer.

ROCK & REILLY’S DTLA

With a hoppin’ location on the Sunset Strip, Rock & Reilly’s is taking their Irish pub food and drinks Downtown. They recently opened up a new location in DTLA to give residents a new place to watch big games with big bites and beverages. Their food is considerably better than most bar food you’ll come across. So even if you’re not going for the game, you’re in for a treat.
